Tell me about your last heartbreak.

“I could have given him so much love but I couldn’t wait for him, I deserved more and I knew my worth. That shattered me but I prayed to God to set me free, and give us both happiness even if it wasn’t with each other. My prayer came true that same year, and we both got in serious relationships. I met the love of my life after truly making the decision to let go of whatever it was that we had. But I chose to keep him in my life, we had a connection and I don’t think you should let those go. It will always hurt but I want him to know I will always care for him in a different way, and that’s through friendship. Although words of that past were not exchanged, you can just tell that we’re genuinely happy for each other and that we respect one another. And that alone is enough for me.”
