What would you want to tell your future children?

“I would tell them that to be successful, you don’t need post-secondary education. I feel that society kind of engraves this in your head that you have to go to school and that you’ll get a good job. And if you don’t go to school you’re gonna fail. From personal experience, I went through that. I went to university right after high school not knowing what I wanted to do which is what everyone kind of does. First year students don’t really know what they’re doing, they’re just taking U1 courses. After awhile, I guess the second year I was still taking classes and I kinda fell in that loop hole. I went to school right away and I was feeling lost I guess. That’s when I made the transition to college. There’s this perception that you’re gonna get a job right away and it’s not the case. I see people who come straight out of high school and they’re grinding and they’re doing their dream job and they didn’t go to school. That’s what I want to tell my kids. You can do whatever you want, if you wanna do social media, I’ll support you. Education matters to a certain point, obviously highschool. Whatever you’re passionate about, go for it, that’s what I think. And don’t believe everything on the internet because it’s crushing people. Just be careful how you put yourself out there on social media because that’s really gonna reflect how you’re gonna be feeling about yourself at the end of the day.”
